Rate request - From the broker's email to the quote you sent.
Every rate request arrives the same way: an email, usually a PDF, and a deadline to answer. LuneTMS handles the reading, the pricing and the reply — your dispatchers keep the decision.

The full sequence, exactly as it runs inside LuneTMS.
How it changes your business
Answer first
Rates being calculcated automatically most of the time means your dispatchers can answer the requests before the others.
Consistent pricing
Dispatchers accumulate pricing knowledge over time which is hard to transfer to new ones. LuneTMS systemize this knowledge and make it available to all dispatchers.
No manual entry
Origin, destination, dates, weight and equipment come out of the email and the PDF with nobody re-typing them.
More volume, same team
How many requests you can handle is no longer capped by the hours your dispatchers can spend on them.
The five steps
The whole process, without a dispatcher opening the PDF or digging for an old rate.
01
The email lands
The AI reads the dispatch inbox, recognises a rate request and identifies the customer.
02
The details are pulled out
Origin, destination, pickup dates, weight and equipment are extracted from the email and its attachment.
03
The price is worked out
The customer's rate sheet when there is one, otherwise lane history: average, last rate and floor.
04
The quote goes out
The pricing email is written and sent to the broker, with equipment, date and how long the offer stands.
05
The reply is handled
Accepted, declined or countered: the answer is read and the load is created as soon as the price is agreed.
